Solidarity BBQ with Aussie Post workers

Workers at Australia Post have been doing it hard. Management issues threats when workers attended the Nov 15 rally and delegates have been harassed and sacked. Lets show the workers at the Fitzroy Delivery Centre and all Australia Post workers that they are supported.

During the Socialist Party Summer School on 4/5th February, 2006, there are one or two events that might be interesting for Union Solidarity activists and supporters.

The On the Picketline Show will be celebrating 20 years on air next year. We will be having a big fundraiser at the Trades Hall Bar, on Friday February 17th from 4.00pm until late.

Invasion Day Commemorations, Canberra

Walk for Peace, a Nuclear Free Future and the Aboriginal Tent Embassy

WHEN? IMPORTANT! The date of the walk is Wednesday the 25th of January. This is the day BEFORE Invasion Day. Please gather at 9.00am to start walking at 9.30am sharp! Banners and placards supporting the walk are welcome.

WHERE? The meeting place is the Phillip Swimming Pool and Ice Skating Centre on Irving St in the suburb of Phillip in Canberra. The Centre is near the corner of Melrose Drive and Launceston Street, Phillip.
