PUBLIC MEETING - SUNSHINE POOL
|
OUR KIDS, OUR COMMUNITY, OUR POOL
6.30pm - 8.00pmThursday 24 August 2006 Mariana Hall Cnr. Monash St and Station Place Sunshine Mel Ref. 40 J1 download meeting flyer A newly formed Mother's group is calling a meeting to discuss the Brimbank Council's backflip on a commitment to seek State Government funding for an outdoor 50 metre pool in Sunshine. The Mother's group is concerned about the lack of recreational facilities for children and teenagers in the West. Residents, Schools, State Government MP's, Union Representatives, Councilors & the Media are all invited to attend. Sunshine residents have been waiting 14 years for the restoration of their 50 metre outdoor pool. The three outdoor pools in Sunshine lie in disrepair and demolition has commenced with NO commitment from council to provide our kids and our community with adequate swimming facilities. Please ask if your school, kinder, sports club, social club etc can help make banners for the day and attend the meeting. more info: www.savesunshinepool.com | download meeting flyer | SMS list 0408 521 913 with the message "Save the Pool" |
