WorkChoices Moonee Vally style!
Library workers are management's latest target at Moonee Valley City Council. CEO Peter Black and Ed Small are attacking existing conditions for new library staff. Management are going after library workers 35 hour week. The 35 hour week compensates staff for working evenings and Saturday mornings without penalty rates. Council are employing new staff on a 38 hour week and plan to work them outside the normal spread of hours without penalty rates!
