There’s nothing like a global crisis to bring out the worst in some companies. Despite a massive $713 million profit, built by a loyal workforce, the Fosters brewing company decided to outsource its Abbotsford plant and sell off its workforce to a labour hire company. more details...

At the end of the workers employment with CUB union members have set up community/worker protest line outside CUB with the aims of
  1. Winning decent working conditions with the new contractor ABB
  2. Securing more maintenance jobs for union members
Union members and members of the community are encouraged to show their support by attending the protest.
