Hopeful signs for striking Toyota workers

The community assembly at Toyota in Altona has been lifted but the workers remain on strike. Toyota has committed to negotiations with officials from the ETU and the AMWU at 12pm Friday [21/9] and it is hoped that the matter can be settled satisfactorily.
